As a manufacturer of LED lighting, we have environmental aspects written into the nature of our business. This is because we manufacture lamps that make a significant contribution to reducing electricity consumption and, consequently, CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. However, we are aware of the great environmental responsibility of manufacturing companies, which is why we have been consistently expanding our activities in this area for years. Our pro-environmental strategy involves taking care of the environment in all aspects of our operations. We invite you to familiarise yourself with them.
We attach great importance to the quality of our products. By quality we mean not only the high luminous efficiency, energy efficiency and reliability of our lamps, but also their durability, and resistance to conditions. Our products are intended to last for years and consume as little electricity as possible. With our knowledge, experience and technology, we want to make a positive difference for the environment. To confirm our words, we issue a 3-year formal manufacturer’s guarantee on our reliable lamps.
We have implemented a comprehensive ISO 14001 : 2015 environmental management system. We have placed environmental management at the heart of our business, implementing a system that aims to create conditions that minimise any negative impact of the company on the environment. Confirmation of the effectiveness of our actions is the ISO 14001 : 2015 certification, which is one of the most recognised in the world.
We promote energy saving among our customers. Every day we encourage the use of energy-efficient LED lighting and the use of intelligent lighting systems. We put a lot of work and effort into raising awareness of the environmental impact of these savings. Pictured above is our state-of-the-art SMT line with a capacity of 80,000 components per hour.
We care about recycling and support education to build environmental awareness. In addition, our products can be recycled at the end of their life cycle and some of them are manufactured from recycled materials.
We attach great importance to the correct segregation of waste. In terms of recycling,We aimed at building pro-ecological awareness and appropriate attitudes in society.
The production of lamps in our plant is carried out in accordance with the RoHS Directive, which sets safety standards for electrical appliances, as well as the REACH Regulation, adopted by the European Union to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the hazards that chemicals can pose.
Upgrading lighting is advisable where lighting is outdated, energy-intensive and does not meet standards. The dynamic development of LED technology makes it possible to replace traditional lighting systems while at the same time saving on electricity consumption. In some cases, savings can exceed 80%. The most important objectives for modernising lighting are to reduce operating costs, to adapt the lighting system to current needs and to reduce CO2 emissions resulting from reduced energy consumption.
Our team, represented by all departments of Topcity Lighting, decided to celebrate Earth Day by planting trees around the production plant. This initiative not only symbolizes the company’s commitment to environmental protection, but also brings numerous benefits. Planting trees helps improve air quality by absorbing carbon dioxide and filtering pollutants. Vegetation around a plant can serve as a sound barrier, providing employees with a more peaceful working environment. It is a proactive approach to caring for the environment, which also has a positive impact on the local community and ecosystem.
The modular design of the lamps we produce allows you to replace only the damaged part of the lamp, without having to replace the entire lamp, which has a significant impact on the environment.
With the ability to replace individual modules or components, users can more easily repair damage, avoiding the need to discard the entire fixture by replacing the damaged module or component. This leads to an increase in lamp life and a reduction in electronic waste.
By minimizing the need to replace entire luminaires, modularity and disassembly of component boards can reduce the consumption of raw materials needed to produce new luminaires, which helps protect natural resources and reduce the negative impact on the environment.
We invite you to see photos of our projects with a green accent. These projects boast not only juicy green colors, but also reduced electricity consumption and CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
